How to confirm your booking
Carefully read the booking conditions below. Then
fill in the form and press Send Confirmation. This will immediately
send us a copy of your booking confirmation and details, but you must
still post the signed contact and deposit.
An online confirmation will be produced, which you
must then print and sign.
Then post it to us together with a deposit
cheque for 40% of the villa price (payment details shown on the
Remainder of the accommodation cost and breakage deposit
is to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Providing the property is still available on the dates
you require, we will hold the booking for a few days, pending receipt
of your booking form and deposit.
Should you cancel 6 weeks or more prior to arrival you will
lose your deposit. Should you cancel after making the full payment,
there is no refund on the villa price unless another person books for
the same period. The breakage deposit will be returned in full when
a cancellation is made.
It is essential that every person in the party takes out a holiday Insurance from the moment of booking, which includes cancellation cover and personal liability cover.
Under 21s are not permitted to book the property unless their stay is accompanied by an adult or agreed by us prior to booking.
You can occupy the property from 2pm on the first day and must
vacate by 10am on the last day.
Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
All linens and towels are provided - Please bring
your own Beach towels.
Breakage deposit - Guests are responsible for any
breakages, damages or loss of any of the property's contents. We do
prefer guests to inform us during their stay of any damages so that
the matter can be rectified. This will ensure that there is no delay
in returning your breakage deposit, which will be returned less any
deductions within 14 days of departure. Any charges incurred returning the breakage deposit, such as bank fees will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
No animals are permitted in any property.
Satellite T.V - Normally BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five are available, but bad weather can affect the signal strength. We cannot guarantee which channels are available.
Maid service duties DO NOT include the cleaning of cooking and eating utensils and equipment. On departure the kitchen should be left in a similar condition to which it was found. If the cleaning of the kitchen takes longer than normal a charge will be made accordingly. For a 1 week rental maid service is provided on Monday and Wednesday. For rentals over 1 week, maid service is provided on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Maid service is not provided on bank holidays or religious festivals.
The use of the air conditioning is included in the price of rental, please ensure that while in use that the doors and windows to the property are closed to ensure it operates effectively and efficiently. If the use of the air conditioning is abused you may be liable for charges.
The management accepts no responsibility for the personal
safety of guests whilst at Madeira House.
Complaints - If a guest has a complaint, it is essential that this is reported immediately to the local management office, so that remedial action, where possible, can be taken. We cannot be responsible for any claim made after 28 days, following guest's departure.
